Viberg x Brooklyn Clothing Co. Service Boot in Shinki Black Latigo Horsehide: $887
Brooklyn Clothing is coming in HOT with four new exclusive Viberg makeups! Each pair in this collection—which BCC has dubbed as their “Modern Classics”—bears a unique equine leather, all made on the 2030 last. First up, a Service Boot in Shinki Hikaku Black Latigo Horsehide, which is struck through with dye so it’ll be all-black for all-time. It features black hardware, a brogue cap toe, and Dainite studded soles.
Viberg x Brooklyn Clothing Co. Service Boot in Shinki Black Teacore Horsehide: $887
If you like your black boots to not stay black, well, look no further. Also made with Shinki horsehide, this black teacore leather Service Boot includes black eyelets, a straight cap toe, and Dainite soles.
Viberg x Brooklyn Clothing Co. Service Boot in Horween Bourbon Horsebutt: $887
Also known as Workshoe Butt, this Horween horsebutt Service Boot comes in a lovely shade of bourbon, featuring antique brass hardware, a brogue cap toe, and Dainite soles. These ones should wear in quite beautifully.
Viberg x Brooklyn Clothing Co. Service Boot in Comipel Brown Horsebutt: $822
Finally, Italian tannery Comipel gets some representation here too, with a brown horsebutt that possesses a surprising depth of character. This Service Boot includes shiny brass eyelets, a brogue cap toe, and Ridgeway soles.
Crockett & Jones x Division Road Shannon in Oak Wax Hide: $725
The latest addition to the ongoing collaboration between Division Road (who we just featured on the Shoecast this week) and Crockett & Jones includes a Shannon NST boot in a waxy leather that’s sure to offer some amazing patina. Built on the 378 last, this boot features a 360 storm welt and Itshide commando soles.
Crockett & Jones x Division Road Grizedale in Bronze Oiled Steerhide: $725
There’s also this newer C&J pattern, the Grizedale derby boot. Made with a Horween hot-stuffed leather with a sanded grain, these boots also feature a waterproof membrane lining, which allows them to serve well in all kinds of conditions. Constructed on the 228 last with a 360 storm welt and Itshide soles.
Viberg x Withered Fig Service Boot in Mushroom Chamois Roughout: $780 (Releases at Noon EST)
Right on the heels of their Marvington II restock, Withered Fig is bringing back another special Viberg makeup. Built on the 1035 last in some lush Mushroom Chamois Roughout, these Service Boots feature a stitchdown construction with Lactae Hevea crepe soles.
Oak Street Bootmakers Trench Boot in Dark Waxy Wild Boar: $488
That’s right, wild boar. I can’t say I’ve seen a porcine leather like this before. These Trench Boots, built on the Elston last, feature a 360 flat welt and Dainite soles. But obviously, the centerpiece here is this distinctive leather—it comes from Gallun Leathers, once one of the largest tanneries in the United States, recently revived by sixth-generation tanner Ed Gallun. Definitely click through to read more about the Gallun story, it’s quite fascinating.
