It’s another exciting week in the world of shoes ‘n’ boots! Not only because the Viberg sample sale is happening this weekend, but there’s a lot of awesome new releases to talk about, including some new Viberg drops, a couple very neat pairs from Grant Stone, some special slippers over at Quoddy, and more.

Division Road x White’s Boots 350 Cruiser in Natural Waxed Flesh: $650
DR’s on an unstructured-toe White’s kick this week, starting out with these all-eyelet cruisers on a Vibram Christy sole in natural Horween waxed flesh. They look fantastic to start, but head on over to Division Road to see how the leather ages—and the toe collapses—as things go along.
Division Road x White’s Boots LTT Oxford 300 in Burgundy CXL: $645
It’s zero surprise this is the kind of chonky boot-shoe we can get behind. The burgundy Chromexcel really just sings along with the tan Vibram 2060 cavity wedge, and the soft toe will work out quite, quite nicely. Lineman’s patch let’s go!!
Viberg Service Boot in Bruciato Horsebutt: $800
Viberg’s getting back in the rhythm of their weekly service boot drops, and this week they’ve graced us with two different 1035-lasted models made with Maryam horsebutt and a dash of TPR for a bit of added shine. These boots, which are both made with a stitchdown construction with Ridgeway soles, come in an almost-British tan shade called Bruciato…
Viberg Service Boot in Taupe Horsebutt: $800
…as well as some more of this excellent Taupe horsebutt.
Viberg Pachena Bay in Sap Waxed Kudu: $810
Viberg also has two new iterations of their padded-collar hiking boot, in distinctly different leather offerings from C.F. Stead. Here we have a boot built with their Sap Waxed Kudu…
Viberg Pachena Bay in Clove Eco Veg Roughout: $810
…while we also see the return of the Eco Veg tannage to Viberg’s ranks, this time in Clove. Both of these Pachena Bay hikers are built on the 240 last, and they feature Thinsulate lining, a 270 storm welt, and commando soles.
Grant Stone Chelsea in Dark Oak Roughout: $312
C.F. Stead is also continuing to thrive at Grant Stone, where they’ve taken this rich shade of a waxy, oily heavyweight roughout leather and bestowed it upon their Chelsea boot. This boot is built on the UK last (fitting similarly to the Leo) and features a 360 flat welt with GS proprietary lug soles.
Grant Stone Ottawa in Natural Minerva: $370
Also at Grant Stone this week, a new Ottawa split-toe boot, this time in a natural shade of burly Minerva leather from Badalassi Carlo. This pair is made on the Leo last with a 360 storm welt and some hefty leather soles. Just fantastic stuff if you’re the type of enlightened person who enjoys watching leather evolve.
Unmarked Yulka in Buckaroo Dark Brown Chromexcel: $390
The latest iteration of Unmarked’s Yulka hiking boot features a distinctive pebble-grain Horween leather, as well as another neat example of their double-row Goodyear welt. For a more casual, comfy style, these hikers ditch the traditional commando sole for a Vibram 2021 wedge sole.
Zerrows x East West Apparel Engineer in Brown Horsebutt: ~$1472
Japanese maker Zerrows frankly doesn’t get enough love on this page, but today we’re amending that by introducing you to this engineer boot they’ve made for UK retailer East West Apparel. These sharp-as-hell boots are made with Maryam brown horsebutt on a flat-toed last with an unstructured toe, and are built on a handwelt construction with a combination of a Vibram 269 Western half-sole and Cat’s Paw heels.
Quoddy Limited Edition Aviator Bomber Shearling Slippers: $169+
Calling all B-3 bomber jacket fans! There’s a whole batch of new limited edition slippers at Quoddy this week, but I think the ones they’ve made with this Aviator Bomber twinface sheepskin are a real treat. I’m personally a big fan of the Dorm Boots in this leather, but there’s also a Fireside Slipper and Easton Slipper available.
Truman Boot Co. Service Boot in Gray Esmonda: $440
This new Esmonda leather from Seidel is a similar tannage to their hardy Hot Shot leather, and it features a slight glaze with significant pull-up characteristics. This particular service boot is built with a captoe on the 79 last with a 270 storm welt and commando soles. There’s also a plaintoe variant on the 55 last, along with their Upland boot on the 20 last.
Rancourt Crowdfunding Returns: $155+
Rancourt has had great success with the crowdfunding model, so they’re opening their books once again for a buuuunch of excellent GMTO options. Whether you’re in the market for their classic Ranger-Moc or some slightly dressier Camden Derbies, you’ve got a lot of choices here at some unbeatable prices.
