Turriff C-02 Anatomical Outdoor Trail Shoe in C.F. Stead Repello Calf: $420 (Preorder)
Turriff Footwear has been a long time coming—just check out the interview we did with Andrew Turriff at the start of 2023. And despite his experience distilling classic aesthetics into patterns for Viberg (including on the Halkett Boot and Rockland Blucher), possibly because of his extensive orthopedic background, Andrew’s own brand’s inaugural models don’t quite look like anything else out there.
The C-02 is combines single row stitchdown construction in the vamp and a Blake rapid construction in the seat. It’s a zero-drop shoe designed from the bottom up around ergonomics (including an asymmetrical last with a snug heel and roomy toe), but it also has all leather upper and veg-tan insoles, midsoles, and heel stiffeners. The tongue is gusseted all the way up and secured with elastic shock cord lacing instead of traditional laces, and there’s an EVA midsole cushion just above the Vibram Megalug outsole. It’s kind of an approach shoe, but it’s really something all its own, with a function-first design and a funky trail shoe aesthetic that’s nonetheless executed neatly. Really cool product right here.
Turriff C-01 Anatomical Outdoor Trail Shoe in C.F. Stead Prairie Waxy Commander: $420 (Preorder)
The specs of the C-01 are identical to the C-02, except that the uppers are clicked from C.F. Stead Waxy Commander in solid color Prairie (a medium brown), instead of the two tone Repello. At time of publication preorders are still a few days away, so if you’re interested check back in on the 26th, and sign up for his newsletter in the meantime.
Classic Works x Viberg N1 Boot in Horween Black Bark Strip: $1,157
Classic Works is a Taiwanese retailer of all things heritage workwear—boots, denim, cordovan wallets and the like—though in general their catalogue is boxier and a little more streetwear-oriented than comparable US-based stores.
They’re also a pretty serious Viberg retailer—possibly the oldest ongoing one—with regular makeup releases and the odd made-to-order event. Most recently, CW released a trio of N1 Boots on the 1940 last. All three models use thick Dr. Sole outsoles and are built with 270˚ flat welts. The first uses a leather referred to as “bark strips,” a thick, veg-tanned horse strip teacore leather that is no joke, and promises to age quite wonderfully with the right inputs. This one’s got a structured toe.
The Free Shipping Part: Also, Classic Works has been kind enough to waive shipping worldwide (otherwise a whole bunch from Asia) for Stitchdown Premium community members—learn more about SDP and our Discord, bonus Shoecast episode access, and plenty more right here. You’ll find the free shipping info pinned in the #viberg-talking channel.

Attractions Lot. 269 Engineer in Black Steerhide: $900
Brogue is now stocking the Biltbuck Lot. 269 engineer from Attractions. The boots are clicked from a combination tanned steerhide and constructed with a 270˚ flat welt. Attractions does the half soles, heels, and (stamped steel) hardware in house, and the final product is a well balanced engineer clocking in at an 11″ shaft height.
Leffot x Alden Fifteen Penny Loafer in Color 8 Shell: $990 (Pre-order)
Leffot’s Fifteen Penny loafer was originally intended to be limited release commemorative makeup for the store’s anniversary. Deep into what’s now Leffot’s 17th year, they’ve brought it back, and we certainly can’t fault them—there’s just something about the way a crepe sole and split-reverse welt beep beef up a loafer without making it feel any less relaxed or luxurious. The Color 8 Horween shell cordovan uppers are lasted on Alden’s Van last, with the pattern modified to add some additional vamp-height. Ships summer 2025, but a lot of people might find these worth the wait.
Brick + Mortar x Alden Eastport Indy in Snuff Suede: $725
Snuff Suede Indys always have something wonderfully cozy going for them and these are no exception. The Eastport is built out on the Trubalance last, with 360˚ split-reverse welts and a commando outsole.
Meermin Casual Penny Loafer in Brown Waxy Calf: $205
Meermin’s latest endeavor is ivy-inspired penny loafer with a round toe, built on the E-width Sway last. Right out of the gate they’re pretty impressive—there just aren’t a lot of places you can get a good, round toed, American-style penny loafer at this price, let alone with a Goodyear-welt construction. Available in a brown waxed calfskin with a rubber sole…
Meermin Casual Penny Loafer in Black Calf: $205

Meermin Casual Penny Loafer in Burgundy Heritage Shell Cordovan: $310
…and Meermin’s Heritage Shell Cordovan, with a leather sole and closed channel stitching, though you shouldn’t expect Horween or Shinki quality shell at this price point.
