Parkhurst Richmond in Light Natural Double Shot: $352
We just missed these new releases from Parkhurst late last week. First up, the Richmond cap toe boot gets the Double Shot treatment in a natural shade of this hardy new leather from Seidel. Built on the 602 last with a 360 storm welt and Dainite soles.
Parkhurst Richmond in Gaucho Moose: $378
The other latest addition to the Richmond lineup is this makeup in C.F. Stead’s Gaucho moose, a thick but forgiving leather made from Scandinavian elk. Also made on the 602 last, and featuring a 360 storm welt with commando soles.
Yuketen Bostonian Shoe in Curry Suede: $528
Standard & Strange Santa Fe just got some sweet styles in from the funkmeisters at Yuketen, and they’re now online for the rest of us who can’t make it out to their New Mexico brick-and-mortar. Of the many new Yuketen styles available at S&S, I wanted to highlight their Bostonian, an ultra-comfy take on the strapped mule style, made with Italian shearling lining and cowhide suede uppers. Rounding out the whole package is a midsole ringed with woven jute, and plantation crepe outsoles. (Also available in all black.)
Yuketen Maine Guide Boot in Wax Brown: $825
Also of note in S&S’s Yuketen collection are these grizzled-looking Maine Guide Boots made with a brown waxed flesh as well as some beaver pelt for the tongue and vamp. Bottomed with a pair of Cortina lug soles, these are a great choice for…well, definitely a trip to the woods, but pretty much any sort of excursion that calls for a bit of flair.
John Lofgren x Standard & Strange Black Cat: $895 (Available Monday 2/7 @ 9AM Pacific Time)
Oh, and here’s a little sneak peek for you guys: S&S is restocking their wildly popular Black Cat boot on Monday. For the uninitiated, these boots are Munson-lasted with unlined black roughout steerhide, and include an unstructured toe, a 360 storm welt, and Vibram V-bar soles. Mark your calendars!
Viberg x Brooklyn Clothing Co. Service Boot (Unstructured Toe) in Natural Chromexcel: $732 (Pre-Order)
Brooklyn Clothing Co. has reopened their books for pre-orders of their exclusive Viberg service boots. These boots are largely similar to Viberg’s classic CXL offerings, though they feature unstructured toeboxes—a neat variation if you’re someone who likes that collapsed-toe look. Also available in brown and Color 8 CXL.
Alden x Leffot Plain Toe Blucher: $795 (Pre-Order)
Leffot’s take on Alden’s classic PTB features Horween Color 8 shell cordovan and black eyelets (you’ll tend to see them blind on Alden’s PTB most of the time) on the Barrie last with some comfy crepe soles.
Nicks Boots Aldert Strider Moc Toe: $495+
Moc toe madness continues at Nicks! You can now order their Aldert Strider 4-inch boot in a variety of their burly leathers.
Unmarked DB Hunter Plain Toe Boot in Tobacco Glazed Pullup: $420
Unmarked’s latest spin on their DB Hunter boot features a glazed pullup leather atop a 360 Goodyear welt construction (with a second 270 row), a Cuban heel, and some old-skool Biltrite neoprene soles. These boots are available in a mid-brown shade of tobacco…
Unmarked DB Hunter Plain Toe Boot in Dark Brown Glazed Pullup: $420
…or this smoky dark brown. (BTW: we’re doing a giveaway of these boots! Head over to our Instagram page to learn more.)
Oak Street Bootmakers Type-10 Trench Boot in Dubbed Natural Roughout: $498
OSB is paying homage to American military footwear of the 20th century with two new makeups that recreate some famous pairs. First up, the Type-10 Trench Boot (following the design contours of the original Type-9 M1918 from the first World War) made on the Elston last with Horween natural Chromexcel roughout. The leather has been pre-treated with dubbin wax, a nod to soldiers in the field that would apply dubbin to improve the water resistance of their boots. These Trench Boots also feature brass rivet reinforcements on the quarters, and are built on a 360 flat welt with Itshide commando soles.
Oak Street Bootmakers N-2 Field Boot in Natural Roughout: $498
Meanwhile, OSB’s Field Boot pattern isn’t too far off from the original N-1 Marine Field Shoe of the second World War, but the N-2’s faithfulness to the design is helped by the addition of some Dr. Sole raw cord soles. This pair is also built on the Elston last, and the raw cord soles are secured with a 360 flat welt.
Meermin Service Boot in Olive Green Shinki Shell Cordovan: $450 (Pre-Order)
It’s been a minute since we’ve seen Meermin stock some of this beautiful shell from Shinki Hikaku, but it’s finally back! You can place an order for a pair of these service boots built on Meermin’s Hok last with a 360 storm welt and JR leather soles. Also available in a cap toe model as well as an NST boot.
White’s Boots Hillyard: $310
These work boots are made on the White’s 610 last with some brown distress leather, and are Goodyear welted with some of their proprietary unit lug soles.
