Between the snow and the subzero temps, I’ve been cooped up in my house for a good chunk of this January. Other than sitting around and contemplating getting a pair of those JK Arctic boots for my freezing feet, I’ve been checking out some of the newest releases from Viberg, Unmarked, Alden and more that have been trickling in. There’s some bangers out this week—let’s get to ‘em.
Also, why not check out some of our previous Shoes ‘n’ Boots roundups here?

J&FJ Baker—the British oak bark tannery best known for their hatch grain Russian reindeer reproduction leather—has tweaked their formula to offer this smooth brown calf leather that is made with the same bark extracts used in their flagship leather. This leather, custom-made for Viberg, promises to offer great water resistance and durability.
These Service Boots are made on the ol’ reliable 2030 last in a stitchdown construction atop some Ridgeway soles. You have your choice of picking out a pair of these handsome boots in a classic brown shade…
Viberg Service Boot in J&FJ Baker Black Calf: $830 (Pre-Order)
…or take it black.
Viberg Service Boot in Taupe Horsebutt: $760
A solid neutral-tone pair right here, now available at Brooklyn Clothing. This cap-toed Service Boot comes on the 2030 last in a stitchdown construction with Ridgeway soles. I dig the pairing of the gunmetal hardware with this Maryam taupe horsebutt.
Wesco x Brooklyn Clothing Co. Hendrik in Charcoal Roughout: $712
Also currently available at BCC: a custom take on one of Wesco’s service boot patterns, the Hendrik. Charcoal roughout along with some Raptor wedge soles is a comfy choice.

Unmarked Dress Señor Boot in Black Calf: $350
Unmarked have taken their casual Señor boot and cleaned up the pattern and stitch lines a bit, offering a much more dressy take on one of their classic styles. These boots, which feature a 360 flat welt and double leather soles, come either in black calf…
Unmarked Dress Señor Boot in Dark Brown Calf: $350
…or a dark shade of brown.
Oak Street Bootmakers Cap-Toe Lakeshore Boot in Whiskey Classic Calf: $512
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: These Lakeshore Boots with Vibram 705 half soles and Cat’s Paw heels are a winning combination, and possibly one of the best makeups they offer. This time around, OSB is using C.F. Stead’s classic calf in a whiskey shade for the uppers. Sizes are already getting snapped up on this one…
