Viberg x Division Road Boondocker in Olive Waxed Flesh: $735
Built on Viberg’s Munson-y 2055 last (Viberg’s best last if you need a wide forefoot), the burly olive waxed flesh pairs quite well with Viberg’s Boondocker pattern. Extra burly-ness courtesy of the commando soles. Division Road does it again.
White’s Boots x Brooklyn Clothing Co. MP-M1 in Dark Chocolate Latigo Roughout: ~$616
Vancouver’s Brooklyn Clothing Co. is bringing some White’s heat with three exclusive makeups. First up, these handsome MP boots in dark chocolate latigo roughout. I’m digging the black eyelets and hooks.
White’s Boots x Brooklyn Clothing Co. MP-M1 in Yuma Gaucho: ~$616
Next, another MP-M1 model, this time in some weathered Yuma Gaucho leather.
White’s Boots x Brooklyn Clothing Co. Stevens Boot in Dark Natural Legacy Roughout: ~$616
Finally, a Stevens boot is in the mix as well, in a roughout leather that’s a couple shades darker than a standard natural RO.
Grant Stone Plain Toe Blucher in Earth Waxed Commander: $288
GS is chonking things out for the impending fall and winter, putting their classic PTB pattern on the same lugged sole—which is quite grippy and whose inset lugs make for a chiller overall (if not quite “dressy”) profile. Combined with the hardy earth waxed Commander leather from C.F. Stead, these things are ready to rock in basically any conditions.
John Lofgren Chelsea in Timber Chromexcel: $825
Earlier this week, our friends at (Patina Thunderdome presenting sponsor!) Standard & Strange released John Lofgren’s first take on the classic Chelsea pattern. These are built on JL’s 110 last, the same one used for their Engineers. It’s available in some lovely Timber CXL…
John Lofgren Chelsea in Olive Chromexcel: $825
…striking Olive CXL…
John Lofgren Chelsea in Black Chromexcel: $825
…and classic Black CXL. Very, very good Chelseas, these.
Alden x Ealdwine “Apex” Perforated Cap Toe Boot in Color 8 Shell Corodvan: $800
A couple of shell Color 8 releases from Ealdwine this week. First up, a reload on their instant-hit “The Apex.” Built on Alden’s 379X last, these PCT boots feature a 270 flat welt and double Waterlock outsoles.
Alden x Ealdwine “Rockefeller” Quarter Brogue Cap Toe Bootin Color 8 Shell Cordovan: $805
But if you like your Aldens even more brogue-y, there’s “The Rockefeller.” These boots are Hampton-lasted with a 360 outsole and double Waterlock soles. Classic Ealdwine class.
Viberg Scout Boot in Natural Dublin: $710
I think it’s been a minute since we saw a Scout boot drop on Viberg.com. Lo and behold, it’s back again this week in three flavors. All of these models are built on the 2030 last with ultra-lightweight (but somehow crazy durable) Vibram Morflex wedge soles. There’s this natural Dublin…
Viberg Scout Boot in Rowdy Dachshund: $710
…also some Rowdy Dachshund…
Viberg Scout Boot in Olive Green Calf Suede: $750
…and this gorgeous green calf suede.
Wesco x Ship John “John Derroll” Boss Boot: $598 (Pre-Order)
Always on-point Portland (the Oregon one) everything-good shop Ship John has buddied up with (also Patina Thunderdome presenting sponsor!) Wesco to create a new iteration of the 7500 Boss engineer boot. The only difference between this and the stock 7500 is that the British tan Domane leather has been flipped inside-out. A simple twist, yet an effective one.
Alden Madison Ranger Mocc in Brown Chromexcel: $650
This summer is beginning to wind down, but if you need a pair of Alden’s rugged Ranger Mocc for your summer excursions and beyond, this pair is a good choice. Built on Alden’s Van last with a 360 reverse welt and commando soles.
